Iris Ceramica Group, global leader in the production of innovative solutions and high-end technical ceramic tiles for the design, furnishing and architecture sectors, has chosen Edison NEXT to implement a decarbonisation process using green hydrogen. The agreement involves the development, at the new plant in Castellarano, in the province of Reggio Emilia, of H2 Factory®, the first ceramic factory in the world developed to operate on 100% green hydrogen. The goal is to achieve 100% green hydrogen-based production by 2030, proving that even a highly energy-intensive industrial sector can improve the sustainability of production sites.

Pascual is a Spanish group in the food sector with which Edison NEXT has been working since 2014, taking care of the management and efficiency of energy assets in all its production plants.
Today, Edison NEXT Spain is partnering with Pascual on a new decarbonisation project, to make the Aranda de Duero and Gurb plants Net Zero by 2026. The aim is to reduce the use of electricity, thermal energy and water by introducing renewable technologies and circular economy solutions.
